Making an impact together.

My story.

I was created passionate about many things, one being the marketplace/advertising and another being human hearts. Most of my life, I’ve worked on building my career, one I’ve loved. Last year, after my layoff, I had the gift of space to reflect. To dream. To rediscover parts of me that had gone dormant or on the side. That’s what life does; the busyness makes loud noises. In this silence, I looked deep within. And then I knew. Exactly what I was to do next.

My next is this. Pivot. I’ve spent most of my working hours on my career and doing the ‘heart projects’ on the side. Now is a time when I’m able to blend these two worlds. Bringing the things I care about closer to the forefront. I’m creating more space to continue to invest my heart to build, love the broken, bring hope to the hopeless, purpose to the purposeless, touch, and leave others a slightly better version of themselves. Letting others feel and know they matter.

One of my many ‘heart projects’ has been coming alongside a best friend as she’s built the Wild & Whimsy Foundation [W&WF]. I’ve been on the board of directors and have seen a dream become a full-fledged non-profit organization. [W&WF exists to raise awareness, provide resources and restore hope, dignity and magic to the lives of children in and youth aging out of the foster care system.] It now needs investment, especially a project close to my heart, ‘Housing Hope’. It needs breathing life into it with the resourcing of dedicated staff, me. I want to dedicate my heart to it. Will you partner with me?

An ongoing monthly partnership will allow me to work on Housing Hope. Creating a cozy, safe full of hope home for women who have aged out of the foster care system, who find themselves with an unplanned pregnancy, or new mamas. The faint at heart don’t do bold. As I start this endeaver, I know I am truly living in my purpose. Moving. Doing things scared. Stretching. Trusting. Believing. And I know this is just the beginning, not only for me, but impacting the future of W&WF. Hopeful for the collision of career + heart that God has in store for 2025. Housing Hope

An initiative to build sacred homes for women aging/aged out of the foster care system. They find themselves with an unplanned pregnancy or a recent new mama. These homes will create a safe space for the women to fully flourish by providing love, care, and resources — mentorship, therapy, coaching to facilitate finding existing services to link up with, and business/career self-development. Think cozy home that provides a sacred space that wraps its arms around the women and hugs them with services that will empower and equip them for a strong, hopeful future.
