Our Vision
We want to ensure every child, teen and family impacted by foster care is seen, valued, and surrounded by a passionate and supportive community. Our intentional initiatives and elevated experiences aim to cultivate connection, healing, and growth while providing opportunities, support, resources, and meaningful moments that empower and enhance the lives of those we serve.

We meet immediate needs while addressing deeper, long term realities — because we don't believe in one time moments of support, but in sustainable pathways to transformation.
Our intentional programs, curated experiences, and resource driven initiatives, create spaces where those who are most vulnerable feel seen, valued, and empowered to envision a future beyond their circumstances. From back to school events and holiday activations to mental health advocacy, and scholarships — we show up where and when it matters most.
Meet the Founder
RYAM TERAN
Founder, Speaker, Community Leader, Biological, Adoptive + Foster MotherA third-generation foster and adoptive mom, Ryam passionately advocates for vulnerable children in and out of the foster care system. She is a devoted wife of 22 years and mother of four. Having adopted a daughter through foster care and fostered five children herself, she and her husband authentically live out the mission and vision of The Wild & Whimsy Foundation. When she’s not speaking and creating experiences for children in foster care, you’ll find her cooking, hosting gatherings, and spending time with her family.
